My friend Jacob's wife, Mary, made a cake for us recently. It was delicious! And when I found out that she had used a cake mix and simply replaced the egg and oil with a 12-oz. can of Diet Sprite, I was flabbergasted. This is a cake that even a "Mother Inferior" who doesn't usually cook (because my recipes often turn out to be more like science experiements) can make. It's foolproof!
Mary's cake was light, moist, flavorful--and low-cal. It doesn't get better than that! :)
